The second field
trip
Last
Thursday we went to the Field Museum. I have never been to the museum since I
lived in the Chicago, so this trip was interesting enough for me.
In the
Thursday morning, It was a sunny day with a nice weather. Without the high
temperature and the wet environment, we started our trip. The fresh air smelt
sweet, and the birds sound like the singer. After a few time, we arrived at the
Museum.
The pillars which next to the
door were hard when I touched its. I thought the pillars were the best design
when I saw the museum first time. It looked like some classic buildings.
When we entered the gate
of the museum, the first thing what I saw was the Bone of Dinosaur. It was amazing
for me to see such big skeleton. Same as another vistors, I could see how
surprised they felt from their face. I thought bones of legs were as
strong as iron in my eyes because the dinosaur was real large one. The bone
should be strong enough to brace a real big dinosaur.
With the time passed, we found some insects sample. Some of
the insects were dangerous and terrible such as some spiders. Mostly, the
terrible insects all have many legs with a lot of hair. A big part of them has
a dark color on their surface such as black or brown. However, some of the
insects were beautiful such as butterflies. They have beautiful wings with
vivid color. It can make a good impression for another people.
After the insects, we found
a big meteorite. When we touched the meteorite, it felt like iron. It was cold
and hard. As we know, before the meteorite been found, it had fired a long
time. The meteorites were smaller than before because the high temperature made
them distillation. As a result, it was hard for me to think how big the
meteorite was before. I thought the meteorite was hard and big enough.
Finally, we visited the
Ancient American Exhibit. It had a lot of things about the history which I never
knew before. Such as the ancient tools and clothes. The clothes were cool in my
eyes. Most of the clothes were green and yellow like the color of the paddock
or the setting sun. Also, there was some interesting hat with a lot of strange
design. Some of them liked animals, and some of them liked the human's face.
This trip took us almost
two hours. I was tired in the end of the trip, but I was excited because I knew
a lot of new things which I did not know before.
